Passed away peacefully on Friday June 30th, 2017 at Michael Garron Hospital, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, of 58 years. Loving brother of Joan (Melvin) of London, Ontario. Cherished father of George, Kathleen (John), Joseph Jr. “Buddy” (Evelyn), Lynda (James), Colin (Helen) and Michele (John). Devoted grandfather to Kelly, Cherie, Kristie, Leo, Joey, Destiny, Tyler, Che, Maggie, Patrick and Shaquir. Also loving great-grandfather to Chanel, Essence, Noah, Paige, Spencer, Opal, Joaquin, Ayden, Odin, Taya and Quinn. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Trull Funeral Home “Danforth Chapel”, 1111 Danforth Ave., (east of Donlands subway station) on Monday July 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday July 11th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 162 Leslie St, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens 33 Memory Lane (Don Mills Rd., north of Finch) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAMH, (specifically for their research of dementia).
