We often sit and wondered ,  what a great opportunity to have met you. Your journey on this plain was filled with such glee, such peacefulness, such a mass of sunlight. Today, you are asleep yet alive in our hearts. We will continue to keep your memory alive through Roz's zest for life . It has taken me some time to write this memorial because of the deep pain and loss that I am still feeling. I have a picture of Karen at my desk, and look at it several times a day. The many years of friendship and partnership that we shared is matched by the love and kindness that she shared with everyone she met. Her love of life, musicals, wild adventures and bid whiz will always be remembered. We should all live each day as Karen did, and always remember that for every person we meet, other lives will feel the ripple effect of our love and generosity.

Karen was such a great person and will be missed by many. I feel fortunate to have known her!

Rest in peace, Karen. You will be greatly missed!

My deepest condolences. My heart is broken. Karen started off as my colleague and quickly became a great friend.  She attended my wedding in Jamaica.  I will never ever forget her kind spirit, her contagious laugh and smile.  The world will not be the same.  Rose Velez-Smith & Family (or as you called me Rosebud)

KB, you had the ability to make anyone feel welcoming warmth and a sense of belonging just by being in your presence. You are forever immortal in my memories as a magnificent human being. Farewell friend.

To Family and friends I met Karen in Lansing Mi in 1978 she was  in grad school at the time. I was a Young misguided  girl a freshmen in college at that time at Michigan State University.  I met her on a job and got invovled with some upclassmen who was involved in things i never had seen or done. To make this story  short, KB  looked at a young women who would have traveled down wrong roads had she not intervene. Karen introduced  me to someone who would be a friend to me who in her words was more my speed, Lol.... Her cousin Millicent Reynolds- Jones .... I am forever grateful for her love and  compassion, for her  introducing me a young green behind the ears girl to a ...beautiful Women who I can say is My best Friend today .... May God Bless You  today in this season of bereavement.

Karen, your smile, thoughtfulness, friendship and courage will be forever remembered, forever missed. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

Karen, no one could light up a room with her smile or her intellect like you did. I enjoyed the times our paths crossed at Pitney Bowes.

I am truly sorry to hear this sad news.  Karen was such an authentic person - I learned a lot from her when we worked together at PB.   My sincerest condolences to her partner, family, and friends.

Karen was a wonderful colleague and was a great partner to me when we worked together during my time at PB Canada.   She was funny, inclusive and always made me feel welcome.  I will miss you my friend!

I had the privilege of sitting on the Women's College Hospital Board with Karen.  She was a straight shooter and always brought the voice of reason to every discussion.  We both attended Michigan State and shared that Spartan connection.  She will be missed.

You will be missed Miss B by everyone whose life you have touched.  Your smile, your warmth and your passion for life is what I will hold dear.  RIP!

Karen was always someone who thought about big ideas and coaching people with heart and dedication. She made an impact and I am sure will be missed by all with whom she shared  her life and her work. With all the challenges of her health, she stayed so positive and now may she rest in God's hands.
