Karl Patrick Levins

Karl leaves behind his wife Katriona, son Daniel and daughter Aishlinn and so many many friends from his work family at Morguard Investments and his neighbourhood and his many walks of life.

Karl was born in Dubln, Ireland (something anyone that met him will have heard many stories about). A very athletic boy Karl played the national irish sport of hurling, on the minor leagues before leaving for Canada in his early 20’s.

Karl and Katriona have lived in the beaches, Toronto for 30 years with Daniel and Aishlinn.

Karl is survived by his sister Sylvia in Australia, brother Paul in Toronto, sister Miriam and brother David in Dublin. He was loved so much by his family.

He was upfront, honest, authentic.. hospitable and charming.. never far off from the quintessence of an Irishman. He certainly had the gift of the gab, by way of his natural warmth and authenticity a little of the Levins magic dust rubbed of on everyone who met him. And for the lucky few privileged to have known him well, our lives have been enriched.

His heart finally had to rest because he invested it in so many of us. He made us feel special.

We will miss him but he would not want us to. He would want us to remember the little stories and better yet repeat them to someone else and let his heartbeat continue on.
