Katherine Lawrence (nee Greenwood)

Our dear one was called away, and has gone with the Lord to stay. Although this passing makes us weep, We rejoice our loved one rests safe in God's keep.

Kathy passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2021 surrounded by Garry and her cousins Dennis, Denise and Minnie while they sang her wedding song "Amazed".

Kathy is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Garry Lawrence and their two fur babies Booboo and Kittygirl. Predeceased by her mother Jane Varey and survived by her father Harold Varey. She is the cherished sister to Welly (Emily) Greenwood and Teresa Greenwood. Adored Aunt to Wesley, Travis, Llewellyn, Daniel, Aria and Kelly. Great aunt to Aiden, Georgia and Maddison. Loved and missed by countless others.

To honour Kathy's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at her home away from home, Parkway Bible Church at Ellesmere and Victoria Park at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 11th, 2021. Kathy found happiness and peace within herself when she found Parkway Bible. Her enormous voice could be heard throughout on Sundays and she loved attending Wednesday night bible study. Forever in our hearts. Until we meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven. This is not goodbye, but a see ya later.

A big family thank you goes out to Kathy's BFF Shannon for being Kathy and Garrys' support while dealing with hospital red tape. Your love and support throughout the years is greatly appreciated.
