

It is with love and broken hearts that we announce the death of Kenneth Rae MacLennan, on Sept 29, 2025. Ken was a great uncle, brother, son, friend and teacher, to so many. Known widely as ‘Uncle Ken’, Ken stood tall every day of his life, with courage, kindness, and spirit. Through rain and shine, Ken was always there for all of us, with understanding, wisdom, wit and love.
Born in Ripley, Ontario, Ken was the well-loved, youngest son of Neil and Norma MacLennan. Ken is predeceased by his sister Jean Lindsay (Bill), brothers Ross (Shirley) and Donald (Nadine) and nephews, Scott and David. Ken will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Mary, Don (Jennifer), Norma, Margie (Steve), Janie (Gwen), Pattie (Craig), Bill, John, Catherine, Barb and Sarah (Richard), and Ken’s cherished Great-Nephews and Great-Nieces - Ian, Ryan, Adam, Dylan, Stephen, Meghan, Julia, Charlotte, Sienna, Erin, Tara and Tess. Ken will be missed by his best friend, Glenn Gebhardt, as well as many lifetime friends, including Paul Lima, Trevor Campbell, and many more cherished friends from Toronto to France, who were also family to Ken.
Visitation will be held at the Rosar Morrison Funeral Home in Toronto, on Friday, October 3, at 467 Sherbourne Street from 6 to 8PM. Ken’s life will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish at 520 Sherbourne Street, on Saturday, Oct 4 at 1:30 PM, followed by a reception at Lynch Hall at 520 Sherbourne St.
