Kristoff.
A life like his does not end in silence. It does not fade into memory. It rises. It resounds. It lives in a way that cannot be buried. My son, my powerful and remarkable son, how do I stand here and speak of you as though you are gone, when everything within me testifies that you are still here? You are in my breath. You are in my spirit. You are in the very rhythm of my heart.

I still hear you. “Hello, my lovely mother.” Those were not simple words. That was identity. That was connection. That was love, spoken with intention and carried with truth. You did not love casually. You loved with purpose. You loved in a way that reached into the soul and stayed there.

Your hugs, your hugs were not ordinary embraces. They were power. They were protection. They were peace in its purest form. When you held me, the world lost its grip on me. Pain could not speak. Fear had no authority. In your arms, I found a stillness that this world cannot give.

You were never just my child. You were my strength. You were inspiration. You were a force of love that cannot be explained and will never be replaced.

Kristoff, you were bold. You were fearless in your thinking. You saw beyond what was visible, beyond what was spoken, beyond what others could even imagine. You did not wait for life to reveal itself to you. You already knew. That is a spirit that this world was never designed to contain for long. So do not tell me that this is the end. This is not an ending. This is a crossing. This is a rising. This is a return to the One who formed you, who knew you, who called you by name before I ever did and I can see it. I can see the heavens open. I can see a light so powerful that no darkness could ever stand before it. I can see Jesus standing there, not distant, not silent, but waiting, waiting for you, calling you, receiving you as His own.

Dear sister Karen and family,

May God hold you all in the palm of his hand while your grieve the loss of Kristoff.  May angels surround you holding you up when you can not hold yourselves up.  May God give you strength when you feel you are weary.

Always mature beyond his years, with a smile that not only lit up his face but his eyes, it made you smile back. ! When he got on a subject he liked, he researched it, gathering as much info as he could.
An obsession was flying, we all thought that would be his career. Imagine a 8 or 9 year old making a deal with his mother to hold off on getting him things until she could buy him a flight simulator! He liked to look at the bigger picture even at that age.
He considered himself the man of the house and was not shy about giving opinions on any matter. He was polite, soft-spoken, helpful and smart.  His focus and interest in knowledge made him a good conversationalist; he knew his stuff.
Rest well my son, till we meet again.

Karen my sister in Christ, my heart aches for you. I’m so deeply sorry for your loss of your beloved Kristoff🥲 I can’t begin to understand the pain you’re carrying, but I’m holding you in prayers and surrounding you with all my love❤️
I truly believe Kristoff is now resting in God’s perfect peace, held safely in His arms, free from all pain and sorrow. The love you shared with him is eternal—it doesn’t end here, and that bond can never be broken. Remember he is now with God and his grandfather. He is in good hands until you join him for eternity😃

May God wrap you in His comfort, give you strength for each moment, and bring you a peace that surpasses all understanding. You are not alone—He is with you, and so am I, always.

I had to look up the meaning of Kristoff’s name cos I kept seeing Christ in him✝️  so l share my findings 🙏

The name Kristoff is a Scandinavian variant of Christopher, and it ultimately comes from the Greek name Christopher.
Meaning
Kristoff means:
“Bearer of Christ” or “one who carries Christ”

Hello Sister Karen,
I have known you and Kristoff for a very short  time, yet it feels as if I knew you years ago. The passing of Kristoff came as a blow to me even though I never had the opportunity to meet him. I heard so much about him, that I started feeling as if I met him before.  How I wish I did.

 I have learnt that he was a beautiful soul inside out.  I know and God knows  you were the best mother Kriatoff could ever have. You went above a beyond to always be there for him. You never got tired,  you never refused to be there for him when you had to.  Even when you were weak and weary, God gave you the strength you needed and you never said "no" I can't do it no more. We thank God for the wonderful moments you nurtured your baby, Kristofd. The memories are amazing. The pictures speak volume.  

We thank God for the strength He has given you and continue to pray that Kristoff will find rest and everlasting calm in His presence. Amen!

My deepest condolences to Karen and her family. Kristoff is a very smart, talented, kind hearted and successful young man. Jesus! Called, Chose and redeemed him. He is living with Jesus and enjoying eternal joy. May God comfort and strengthen his mother and mother and his family. May God’s divine peace, mercy and grace be with them all. Amen 🙏🏼.

I have had the privilege of knowing Kristoff since he was a young boy in prep school and it has been truly special to watch him grow into the person he became.

Working alongside his mom over the years gave me a deeper, eye-opening view into his journey, and I always admired his confidence. It was clear that you were intelligent, curious, quick to understand, and always asking meaningful questions. Your intelligence was never just about being smart, it was reflected in how you treated others and how you faced life’s challenges.

I am grateful to have known you, Kristoff, and honored to have witnessed your journey and even more so to have been a small part of your story. You were deeply loved and will be remembered with great respect.

You will be profoundly missed.

Kristopher, I didn’t get to see but your dear mother talked so much about in our Home Cell. Today, we’re grieved over your departure just when we were closed to seeing you. I called today a brother because we both have accepted Jesus Christ our Saviour. I know exactly where you are and I will definitely see you again.

I met Kristoff in the fall of 2025, and we quickly became friends. He allowed me to call him Kris, a name that felt just right for his vibrant spirit. Kris was an incredibly intelligent young man, and our conversations spanned a wide range of topics. Most importantly, he welcomed discussions about the power in the name of Jesus, understanding that this faith would ultimately lead him to encounter God.
Kris was strong-willed, effortlessly navigating our discussions in both English and French, providing thoughtful insights in either language. I truly miss my friend and little brother; the memories we shared are deeply cherished.
I vividly recall the day he decided to give his life to Jesus and become born again. His happiness and gratitude were palpable as he embraced this new chapter. We looked forward to praying and serving the Lord together, but God had different plans for Kris.
He was gentle and kind, and during this difficult time, I pray for his beloved mother. May God provide her with strength and comfort in her grief. 
Thank you, Kris, for inspiring me to continue serving God and for reminding others that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
