Passed away peacefully at home in her 92ND year on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Giovanni . Cherished mother to Carlo (Joan) and Mary (Ron). Proud nonna to Amanda (Paul), Daniel, and Alexandra. Devoted sister-in-law to Pasquale, Filomena, and Ada. Lavinia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many family and friends in Italy, U.S.A. and Canada.
Guests will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., and (1 light south of Wilson Avenue west of Jane Street – 416-249-4499) on Monday, August 29, 2011from 6-9 pm . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in ST. PHILIP NERI ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (2100 Jane St. at Beverly Hills Dr.). Entombment to follow at WESTMINSTER CEMETERY (5830 Bathurst St. north of Finch Ave.). Donations in memory of Lavinia, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
