Born on January 20, 1953, in St. Vincent, Lennie carried the spirit of the islands with him throughout his life — vibrant, kind-hearted, full of rhythm, and deeply connected to his roots. He was a man of warmth, laughter, and joyful movement, whether it was with a cricket bat in hand or dancing to his favorite tunes.
Lennie had a deep love for cricket, a game he not only played but cherished, and he never missed a chance to share stories from the pitch. A true music lover, he found joy in soca, gospel, and any music that made his soul dance. His energy was contagious, and his smile lit up every room he entered.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Rema, and missed deeply by her family, including Astra, Harry, Kaye, Monique, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lennie was not only a cherished husband and relative but also a beloved member of his church community, where his presence, praise, and fellowship brought light to many.
Lennie’s legacy is one of joy, movement, faith, and community. He touched countless lives with his laughter, generosity, and infectious energy. While he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in every beat of a drum, every cricket match, and every song sung in praise.
A celebration of Lennie's life will take place on Saturday September 20 at Bethel Restoration Ministries, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor a life so beautifully lived. Private Cremation to follow.
May he rest in eternal peace.
