Lester Morrison Shelton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lester Morrison Shelton, who passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 93, in Scarborough, Ontario.

Born in Portland, Jamaica, Lester later lived in the United Kingdom before making his home in Canada, where he worked as a skilled craftsman in the automotive field. He was known for his quiet strength, dedication, and creativity.

Lester enjoyed gardening, photography, and watching sports, especially baseball and hockey. He attended the Church of the Nazarene and will be remembered for his bright smile and laughter that lit up any room.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Marcia and Maureen, and remembered in the memory of his son Ian (deceased). He will also be cherished by his granddaughter Leticia, along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, CA, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  

A Funeral Service will take place at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, CA, on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.  

Burial will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 1R1, CA, on May 1, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
