With sadness we announce the passing of Lidia Maria Lynch on July 30, 2023 at the age of 77 years, in Toronto. Lidia was born on March 24, 1946 in Palermo Italy, to Bernardo and Carmelina Valente. She is reunited in heaven with her husband Alan (October 2022). Lidia will be dearly missed by her daughters Bernadette (Scott Newdick) and Christina and son Robert. Loving grandmother to Alexander and Claudia Newdick. Beloved sister to Rosaria (Tony Rechichi), Gabriella Valente (Charles Roy Murray), Emanuele Valente (Jocelyn Allard) and Daniele Valente (Luisa). Lidia was a teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board for 33 years. She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by her many nieces, nephews, colleagues, students and friends.
A Celebration of Lidia’s life will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 in the chapel of Jerrett Funeral Home- St. Clair Chapel (1141 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto) at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto)
