Lena was a wonderful lady, she always had a big hug for my sisters and I. Our farm days are filled with memories of her and Guiseppe. She was a pious pillar in the community. How fitting that she joined the Lord during such a holy time. May she rise with Him in heaven. We are glad to hear she was surrounded by loving family. May the memories bring you joy and the comfort she felt with you all during her final moments bring you peace. A wise saying ,”Chi trova un amico/un’amica, trova un tesoro,” has been true for me , Silvana, and Enrico Toscano since  1985, year we were fortunate to move next door to Maddalena/ Lina affectionately called by us. Lina’s great generosity,  respect,  and religious fervour along with a slew of fantastic homemade recipes she shared with me have truly been a blessing.  We will miss her phone calls and her knock on our door , bringing delicious treats every single festivity, her smile, her words of sympathy and encouragement when we needed them, but we will always keep her beautiful soul in our heart. Rest in peace, Lina. We love you!
