Well Mom it is almost Xmas.  Just thinking about you and how you loved to go to Norma's.  I miss you lots and think about you everyday.  Love and kisses Sandra

To the Bellemore family, I knew Margaret for the past 11 years; first time I met her she was up dancing to some tunes on the second floor of the Black Swan where her youngest son Robert (Robbie) was playing blues harp with a band. That was in August, 1999.  Your mom always had a smiile for me and would always sing a few lines of "Hey GoodLookin'" she also used to do this little rhyme "When I was young and in my prime, I used to do it all the time; but, now that I am old and grey, I only do it once a day" which always brought a laugh.  I will always love her and dearly miss her.  Lets remember the good times.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The likeness between Auntie Margie and her sister Winnefred Wood, my granny, was uncanny. Auntie Margie appeared (to me) to be a clone of my granny, making me marvel at their funky sense of humour and "beyond their time" young attitudes.  Auntie Margie was a really cool woman;I hope I have some of her genes so I can grow old with the same humourous attitude toward life.

Please take heart in knowing that grief is the price we pay for love.  May Auntie Margie have a wonderful, happy homecoming on the other side.

Dear Bellmore Family

My sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear mother Margie.

Your mom and my mom gave birth to their dear babies in April 1941 and that's where they met and became  friends.

I remember your mom when she would come to our house on Curzon St when I was a child. She was soooo upbeat. She had a nick name for her children.  As I rembember so many years ago, she called Sandra, Little Bitty Boo, Larry was Pouchy and Dawn was Gussie. I do not remember if Marlene and Wayne had nicknames as it is sooo many years ago.

My dear mother is also buried at Holy Cross Cemetary (1969 and so is dad ( Fred McDonald  2007)

Please thank God thank you had your dear mom until she was 94 years old. 

I find it unbeleivable that your mom and my mom are at Holy Cross Cemetary in their final resting place.

 Gussie's Mom, she was so funny, she use to say "What's SHE doing here?" whenever I was at the house! It was great to know you Mrs. B. and I'm very sad to have to say "Goodbye". XO

To the children, spouses, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends of Mrs. B:

I remember fondly Margaret and I calling each other "Magret" instead of Margaret.  When the house was full when she would come home from bingo, she would shout out "everyone out except Margaret O'Brien".... LOL.

I can still see her dancing up the hall of the Black Swan, hanging on to chairs as she did, on her birthdays.  What a trouper.

Having lost my mum only a few short months ago, I know exactly what you are going through.  Margaret had a full life, a loving family and many descendants.  Be so proud of that.

You did an incredible job of the photos.  It made me remember your dad too.  I'm sure there were all sorts of stories and memories unfolding as you sorted through the photos.  I know that could not have been easy but a vital part of the process.

I'll keep you all in my prayers during the upcoming difficult days as you prepare to say your final goodbyes.  Hang on tightly to each other.  God bless you all
