I am deeply saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing.  I will remember Margaret  from Cosburn Bowls; all the support she gave to the club, the way she could light up a room when she smiled.

Words cannot express how we feel over the loss of our beautiful friend.  Margaret was my soul-sister and Aunt Margaret to our children. We've seen each other through the ups and downs that life served up and even though there were times of separation, when we didn't get together as often...hard to do when you live in separate countries lol...our bond of friendship remained strong. We will miss her wit, charm and grace and will remember all the good times.

We're so thankful that you and Margaret found each other and know you made her very happy, you were truly her best friend. We're lucky to have had the time with her that we did, over 40 years for me (Stella) and so many happy memories that we will cherish. 

As I'm writing this I received a Messenger message from Margaret..."Let me know if you get this cause I don't think my messenger is working"...it is working now my friend ...I'm sure I'm just getting the message now because you (Nigel) have turned on her device, but I will choose to believe it's her reaching out. I hope you are out there in the cosmos Margaret, jamming with Tom and that we will meet again one day. RIP my friend

Nigel, Margaret's Family & the Clayton "clan".  We are so sorry for your loss. Margaret was taken away too soon & too quickly. We will miss her in Barbados, especially at Happy Hour at "the Carib" or Devachan. I was one of the lucky ones to see you both before having to leave Barbados last month (Peter was sick).  And just knowing that Margaret & you thought enough of us, to ask us to meet  you  for Happy Hour before having to leave the island, I will cherish that forever. I will also miss our little What's App chats throughout the year. 
Take care my friend, wish we could be there, but we will have a beer or 2 or 3 ...  here in Ottawa to her memory.

Our thoughts are with you during this extremely difficult time, and both Maria and I would like to offer our sincere condolences on the sudden loss of Margaret.  Thank you very much for posting so many pictures of Margaret and the many events you shared though your journey together over the years.  Memories that bring a smile to your face are great tools to help through the grief journey. The path has no shortage of tasks, remembrances and triggers that make us sad. Yet, the long term goal is to learn to manage the grief on a daily basis. Berczy Park, Toronto, October 2019 - a very fun trip to Canada at a time in my life when Margaret’s support was most appreciated on multiple levels (including letting Nigel out to play 24/7 and joining us on most occasions when not looking after Bob & Doug).

Taking a break from club business, and hitting the greens.  An awesome day filled with fun, laughs, good food, team work and hot,  hot, hot bowling! The Three Queens of the Greens win the silver plate! Representing Cosburn Park Lawn Bowling Club,  Margaret "the ringer lead", Sandy  Johnson "the shortest skip" and Nancy  Lord " the vice and voice of reason".  Our first time bowling together and winners of the July 2023 Cobourg Ladies Triples.
