My condolences to Rita’s family.  I met Rita many years ago at the Calvin Scottish Country Dance group on Tuesday nights where we often partnered together for Mairie’s Wedding and Maxwell’s Rant, particular favourite dances of the group.  Rita danced up until the Covid shut down in early 2020, even through her speech difficulties, she cut a fine wee figure on the dance floor.  Those steps she learned as a girl in Scotland were ingrained in her ever-so-light feet.  Jean Campbell and Rita were lovely dancers together, and I loved them both.  We shared the love of cats but I could never come close to her fashionista style.  She always looked great…..I miss you, Rita.

I have fond memories of working with Rita at Fiberglas Canada Inc. We had lots of laughs and Rita never failed to remind me to "put on your lippy" when I passed by her desk.  The past few years have been difficult - you've earned your rest. Rest In Peace, Wee Rita.

My condolences to Rita’s family at this sad time. Rita was my neighbour, friend and above all great fun wherever we went Scottish Dancing. The Forest Hill  Village folk  adored seeing her with her out in  her impeccable dress sense and the wee mad flash of red hair . I will miss  her company .
