Maria Eva Radda

It is with profound sadness that we annouce the passing of our precious mother and Omi on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the age of 86 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Walter Radda, cherished mother of Ursula (Ross) Williamson and Walter (Birgit) Radda. Adored grandmother of Julie (Russ), Tanja (Cory), Karen (Mark), Melanie, Stefanie, Leah, Kristin and Hayley. Much loved great-grandmother of Grace, Ben, Talia, Nolan, Ava, Sawyer and Brayden. Dear sister of Elfy (and the late Herbert) and the late Gerti (Erhard) and sister-in-law Paula (and the late Karl). She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mimi touched the lives of everyone she met and her kindness, strength and generosity of spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Born in Vienna, Austria, Mimi was known for love of music, especially opera. She was a talented artist and for many years a dedicated member of the Scarborough Art Guild. But her true passion was her soul mate Walter and her family and she lived every moment for them. Visitation Thursday, February 2nd, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Friday Febuary 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
