Mary Marguerite Cachia

Granny was born September 24, 1929 to Ethel Thompson in Belleville Ontario. Granny led a long, full life. She was a proud mail sorter at Canada post south-central for 41 years with multiple awards and acknowledgements for her time working there.

Granny was a music lover, with a special love for Elvis and Johnny Cash. She liked to spend her time playing cards, watching her stories, and having a good cup of tea.

She will be joining her husband, Paul, and daughters Shirley and Barbara while leaving behind her loving daughter Margo and sons PJ and Billy , her nine grandkids and 10 great grandkids.

Granny will be remembered as a strong, independent woman who had a strong will, and stood firm in her beliefs, always standing up for what she felt was right!

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A graveside service will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1.
