

Milton George Dodge passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19th, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario.
Milton was born in Prince Edward County, Picton, Ontario. He dedicated much of his professional life to education, working as a Teacher for the North York Board of Education. A lifelong learner, Milton earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and later obtained both his Riding Instructor Certificate and Floral Design Certificate from Humber College, along with photography courses to improve his skills - pursuits that reflected his curiosity, creativity, and love of acquiring new skills.
Beyond his career in education, Milton was deeply committed to helping others and giving back to his community. He worked at the YMCA in Toronto up until his final day, where his warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness brightened the days of countless people. A true social butterfly, Milton had a gift for connection, he made everyone feel welcome, seen, and valued simply by being himself. He was selfless, and always maintained a curious zest for life. His presence alone had a way of lifting spirits and bringing people together.
Milton lived life fully and with intention. He loved to travel, especially enjoying time in Puerto Vallarta. Whether traveling, learning something new, or spending time with others, Milton never stopped enjoying life or finding joy in the world around him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Sarah Emma Dodge; his brother, Frederick Dodge, his sister-in-law, Anne Dodge and niece Margaret Anne Dodge. Milton is survived by his beloved sisters, Sheila (Peter Slade) and Judy (Paul DiMarco). He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Fred (Janice) Dodge, Philip (Deborah) Dodge, Josie (Robert) Kulig, Paolo DiMarco, Michael and Melinda Slade, his great nieces and nephews Kayleigh Merriam, Keirsten Bradley, Sarah and Natasha Kulig, Peter, Melissa and Mark Dodge, Aidan, Isabella, Ava DiMarco and by extended family, dear friends, colleagues, and the many people whose lives were touched by his generosity, warmth, and unwavering kindness.
Milton will be remembered as an amazing, genuine, and generous soul, a man who loved deeply, helped freely, and made the world brighter simply by being in it.
On January 3rd, 2026, at Rosar-Morrison Home & Chapel, 467 Sherborne Street, Toronto, ON., a visitation will be held from 11:30 am - 1 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 pm.
