Morley Franklin Peckford was born November 18th, 1941 on Change Islands Newfoundland to the late Hilda Peckford(nee Cave) and Stanley Peckford. Morley peacefully passed away on February 2nd, 2017 at East General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Reginald,Wayde, and Bernard.
At the age of 22, this son of a fisherman left his home of Change Island in 1963. He worked 33 years as a Marine Surveyor, spending most of his time on the great lakes and rivers of Ontario, maintaining a strong kinship and love to be on the water.
He is survived by his wife of over 52 years Margaret(nee Hurley), his children Jennifer Lake(Kyle), and Steve Peckford(Carol-Anne). Grand children Noah and Abigail, Mackenzie and Bailey. Siblings Isabel, Pat, Elsie, Audrey, Stan, John, and Lloyd.
