Niall Ibar O'Bracken

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Niall O'Bracken who departed this

life on September 18, 2025 at the age of 92.

Born in Tullamore County Offaly, Ireland, he was the last of 8 siblings, predeceased by his father, Peadar, and mother, Maire, and his seven brothers and sisters. An uncle to his nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, great grand nephews, great grand nieces across Canada and Ireland, he leaves behind a vast loving family.

Niall's professional life was as varied as his passions. He built the Golden Pages in Ireland and the UK, forged a successful career in sales, pursued philately with fervor and bred Toy Poodle champions with the same meticulous care he applied to every endeavor. He served as an Executive Board member for the Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade Society, reestablished in 1988, and as Chairman of Sean South Hurling Club, showcasing his deep love and commitment to community and Irish heritage.

Warm and generous, Niall always enjoyed the craic-bringing fun and laughter wherever he went. An avid reader with a lifelong love of Irish culture, he sparked countless conversations and regaled all, with his stories.

Visitation will be held Monday September 29, 4 - 8pm at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X1K5.

Requiem Mass will be held Tuesday September 30, at 11am, at St Paul's Basilica, 83 Power Street Toronto, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and share stories of how he touched their lives.

Uncle Niall will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
