My sincerest sympathies to you and your family Cheryl. Your Mother lives on in the hearts of all of us whom she touched.

I will start with, I am not a guest, I am one of her children, but I still have a lot of kind words about my Mom.  Almost 50 years ago, when she was about to deliver me, my Dad called a Taxi to get my Mom to the hospital, but she never made it, I was born on the bathroom floor in a apartment on Fishliegh Drive., by the Scarborough Bluffs.  My Mom and me were never admitted to the hospital because the staff feared we would contaminate the other mothers and babies because we were exposed to the germs outside of the hospital. I was her last child, her baby, her fourth born.  I was never planned by my parents, they wanted to stop at 3 children, but things like this happen. I love my Mom, for loving me the way she did (unconditionally) and did her best to raise all of her children, throughout all of her sicknesses and while my Dad worked 7 days a week to support all of us.
My Mom was not only my mother, but my best friend.  I had to share her with my other siblings, which at times was tough, especially when we all got sick at the same time. I did not mind at all, AFTER ALL SHE WAS A MOTHER TO ALL OF US! My Mom was fantastic, caring and super special to all of us...she was always there to take care of us or any of her children. When her grandchildren came along...she always new what to do, when we called her in the middle of the night, in panic that our kids were sick and what should we do...she always had the right answer. Whenever I got sick, no matter how old I was, she was always there to take care of me, as if it was still her job. I will always remember her as the greatest Mom in the world!  My Mother cared more about everyone else before herself...she made sure that everyone came before she did.  My Mom spent her life caring for other people before she did herself.  Now, I wished that there had been something I could have done to make her all better but, Caner is Cancer, especially when she put other people before herself and kept putting off her own health to come to the aid of others.  It takes a really special person to do that!  That was my Mom, it was just the way she was.
I will never forget the comfort, care and support you gave to me and my children, your Grandchildren and especially for your daughter Sandra!
throughout your life!  Now my Mom has joined my Dad & Brother...I hope things are a lot better for you on the other side!  My special MOM!  You will be in my heart forever, missed forever and never forgotten.  Love you, xoxo
