Paul D’Eath who left unexpectedly but peacefully on November 15th, 2025 at the age of 73. Born June 24,1952 in London, UK where he studied literature and philosophy, he moved to Canada as a young adult and built a successful career in the tech industry. Paul was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Cicely, and his brother Philip.
Paul leaves behind his life partner Dianne, beloved sons Joel (Peggy) and Rowan (Jovian), stepchildren Gwynyth (Ed), Dylan and Joshua (Katie) as well as the grandchildren he always looked so forward to seeing at his table: Otis, Sawyer, Chloe K, Chloe D, Wyatt, Elena, Everett, Des, Alex and Avery.
In his retirement, Paul enjoyed travel, studying languages, gardening, raising orchids, birding, inventing new riffs on his guitar and making sense of world news. He was an avid reader with a broad interest in history, politics, science and art and was always ready to provide advice and discussion on a range of subjects.
As he did not care much for rites and rituals, the immediate family bid Paul farewell at a private gathering.
Close friends and extended family will be invited to a Celebration of Life at a later date.
