Dad, I'll love you and miss you ALWAYS. thank you for everything, and always being there for me. I'll always appreciate you and be proud to call you my dad, and best friend. Not a day passes that I don't think of you and remember you. Sometimes I remember things and laugh hysterically,  other times I cry, I miss our chats, our jokes, calls, messages and visits at your house. It's still so hard to believe that you're not here anymore, but I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place, at peace and always watching over us. Hi my name is Christine.  I have known Paul and his family for along time as we grew up together. My fondest memory of Paul was his love for his niece and my daughter Ashely. When she was just a baby he would offer babysit so he could have quality time with her. He was great with her and she was with him. Paul later in life became a father himself and from the posts I would see on Facebook he adored and loved his children. As his family and friends have said he did have a sense of humour that showed through his comments on my Facebook. He made laugh and smile at the same time. 
Paul may have left us to soon but he will always live on through others especially his children. I pray his soul rests in peace and that he will fly the heavens while he watches, loves and protects his loved ones back here on earth.
Paul u will always live on in my heart and memory!! Amen 🙏🥰

As kids growing up Paul was full of energy in the playground. 
As adults fishing was not only a passion but possibly something more.
We had gone fishing the year before last, in Pickering. My friend Chuck, and Paul were landing fish every couple of minutes, where as i had the goose egg. Paul suggested going with a smaller hook as he was using.
Big hook gets the big fish i told Paul. Paul laughed and said that's fine, if big fish is to be had. But enjoy the sun and watch us get the little guys.
Paul was in his element, as he was right.
Male pride forced me to stick with the big hook.
I'll remember that most of all about Paul.
He was content catching anything, that was just Paul.
We were making plans to go fishing in the spring. I'm sure that when i go, Paul will be there. Right hook this time buddy...

Paul, I am still in shock that you are gone, we have been friends for a life time. Our long talks, laughs, crys. Swimming at John Innes, roller skating at the Terrace, hanging in the park and many more. Your smile would light up a room when you walked in always. You always had my back and I had yours. Your daughters were you pride and joy and also your gradkids.

Paul ways an amazing dad and my best friend we spent many nights up just chilling and talking he helped my daughter hope AKA Hariy and me in so many ways he was my best friend and we had many wonderful weekends in the 10 years that I knew him he gave and gave until it hurt and just when he thought he had no more to give he always found  a little bit more to give if you were lucky enough to be loved by Paul you knew you were loved I'm going to miss cooking with him and baking and our night fishing trips Day fishing trips and riding bikes with him he taught my son Robbie AKA rabbit and my son Timmy aka tman how to treat a lady he loved life and music and his Coca-Cola his passion for his children was beyond compare and my children and I will be internally grateful for the gift that was his friendship he will always be familia to us many people may have known him as Paul but to my daughter and i he will always be TIGER  HEART IM GOING miss hearing him say to me ride or die for Life he taught my daughter and I it's okay to be who you are and to be loved for it and above all to Love yourself he showed my sons how to treat a lady we shared a love for fishing and a passion for animals especially cats he loved my children as if they were his own my youngest son timmy and my only daughter hope grew up with him and we will miss having our water balloon fights in the summer rest in peace tiger heart we will always be grateful for everything you did for us and we always love you

I am so sorry to hear about Paul’s passing . I have a lot of childhood memories with Paul, from school days to him hanging out with my brothers.

Paul was my little "BIG" brother. ( AKA ) SNAPPER.  Paul had the corniest jokes and saying.  My favorite saying he had for me was "RULES OF THE ROAD"  I'm gonna miss all the times we fished together and afterwards the stories of the ones that got away.
