

He is survived by his wife Barbara Kee MD, Susan (Martyn Bone), Jim (Kim Upton), Stephen (Megan MacDonald), and five grandchildren, Mackenzie Sneyd, Oscar Bone, Malcolm Bone, Madeleine Sneyd and Charlotte Sneyd.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Margaret Sneyd (Ingram), his older brother Bill and his wife Lola and nephew, Bill Sneyd Jr. He leaves behind his brothers Ralph (Barbara Jesson), John (Ann King) and Dan as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Paul was born in Toronto on January 10, 1943. He graduated from Port Hope High School. He was employed by the Ministry of Revenue, Province of Ontario, from the early 1960's, retiring in 1994. Paul and his family visited Big Rideau Lake in the early years. He worked on the lake as a teen and eventually bought property there. He spent 55 summers at the lake property starting in tents, then a trailer and eventually a cottage.
Paul learned to play piano and the clarinet. He was involved in bands and various choirs. He started his stamp collection 75 years ago. He loved the Toronto Maple Leaf's and attended the game when they won the Stanley Cup in 1967.
Paul was a Christian from his early years, being baptized while his family lived in Daytona Beach in the 1950's. After moving back to Canada (Port Hope) in 1958 he joined the BYPU at Calvary Baptist Church in Port Hope and continued BYPU at Calvary Baptist Church in Toronto at 72 Main St., where his uncle Dr. Robert Sneyd, was the minister. Paul sang in the church choir for 60 years and occupied many of the church offices. He enjoyed going to Camp Manitomono on Beausoleil Island for many years. Paul was involved in the church's refugee work and then the East End Refugee Committee involving many churches. He led the Mission team for years and was involved with the Grace Pascoe Care Centre and Ganaraska Retreat Centre. Paul was a founding Director of Affordable Housing East (AHE) from the mid 1990's, retiring from their Board in 2022.
Paul became a member of the Kiwanis Club of Riverdale in 1994. He was invited to join the board of the Broadview Foundation (Chester Village) more than 20-years ago. He also served on the Board of Hope Centre until 2024.
Paul and Barbara traveled (mainly cruised) to many countries in their 55-years of married life together.
