Peter Bruce Mitchell

Predeceased by his loving parents, Alastair and June; his uncle, Gerry; his brother, David; and his cherished dog, Dhalgren.

Peter is survived by his beloved husband, Franco Palermo; his brother, Ron; his cousin, Greg (Abby); and his nieces and nephews: Cameron (Jennifer), Shana Hennessy (Paul), Robyn (Stephen), Alastair, and Morgan.

Peter enjoyed a successful career as a commercial real estate executive. His passion was building accessible and sustainable communities.

He believed life was an adventure and he embraced as many as possible—from skydiving and scuba diving to sailing, waterskiing with the boys at the cottage, and embarking on epic fishing trips. Peter was an avid reader and happiest at the cottage, surrounded by nature. His love for the outdoors began at the Linton cottage as a boy, spending summers with Gram and Gramps, his brothers and cousins, and creating countless fond memories and shenanigans.

Peter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His generosity, humour, and love for animals will be remembered fondly.
