Born in Lettomanoppello, Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, on March 23, 1951, Pina was a woman of quiet strength, grace, and boundless warmth.
She was the beloved wife of Giacomo for nearly 46 beautiful years—a marriage built on love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Pina was the cherished mother of Michael (Cristina) and Claudia (Delroy), and the proud Nonna to Lincoln, Violet, and Olivia—the true lights of her life. Her face would brighten at the sound of their voices, and she found her greatest joy in their hugs, stories, and laughter.
The daughter of the late Giuseppe and Pasqualina, Pina was one of twelve siblings. She is predeceased by Camillo, Remo, Eva, Livio, Italia, Antoinetta, Aldo, Franco, and Carlo, and is survived by her loving brother Germano and sister Maria. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Pina lived a simple, elegant life—marked by her love for family, her chic, understated style, and a heart full of kindness. Pina enjoyed hosting garage sales—not for the items, but for the company. These gatherings became moments to connect with friends, share stories, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being together. For Pina, it was about the laughter, the warmth, and the sense of community.
Her trips back to Italy brought her a deep sense of peace—walking the familiar streets of her hometown, reconnecting with loved ones, and embracing the culture that shaped her spirit.
Pina leaves behind a legacy of love, authenticity, and quiet resilience.
Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Gone too soon, she will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.
Donations in Pina’s memory may be made to Mount Sinai Health.
