Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in his 52nd year. Beloved husband of Gail Dupuis. Survived by his daughter Princeline Karn (Tom Jones), son Robert Dupuis ( Melissa McNiel). Dear Granpa of Lucas, Jason, Thomas, Dennis, Jacob, Joshua, Jordon, Skyler and Trinity. Dear brother of Glen Wingrove of Georgetown. Predeceased by mother Patricia Wingrove. Robert was a veteran and served in the military. He was a kind and gentle man whom everyone liked and loved. Friends and family will be received att he GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. Subway), 416-698-3121, on Monday, September 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, September 24 at 7 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

In deepest sleep one night I dreamed

That on the beach I walked.

God was by my side each step

And quietly we talked.

Then on the sky my life was flashed;

The visions all serene.

Two sets of footprints in the sand

Were there in every scene.

But then I noticed in some scenes

Of suffering, pain and strife…

Just a single set of footprints

At the worst times of my life.

“God...You said you’d stay by me

In good times and in bad…

Why then did you leave me

Each time my life was sad?”

“My precious child,” God answered,

“When your life had pain, I knew.

The single set of footprints

Were the times I carried you.”
