My dear, sweet Rose
I'll miss so many things that we did together.  Talking & laughing for hours on the phone.  Your calling me when it was humid and saying "watch yourself and be careful".  Exchanging our Italian stories about family that was so important to us both.  We both had memory losses and we laughed when we couldn't get it straight what was wrong physically with us.  You were sure you had MS too.  As sisters we want to think we have the same stuff and we feel better when we thought we were right.  You complimented me on the stories and cards I wrote to my family and friends.  You were sure Hallmark would hire me.  
I must go my sweet sister and you'll be busy talking to Ed, Lynn, Mommy, Daddy & Aunt Phyllis.  So remember sweet Rose to fly with the angels and dance with the stars.

My dearest Aunt Rose there are just so many memories I could share and they each make me smile even through my tears from missing you. You were Always there for me in so many ways. You could make me smile with your warmth and fabulous compliments. I remember one not so long ago we dropped by the hospital on our way to a play and you said “Wow you look like a Movie Star”. I’ll never forget how you were one of my biggest fans no matter what I did you always made me feel extra special. I will miss you more than I can ever say you were my 2nd Mom and taught me many things I’ll never forget. Especially “Be Kind to yourself and you deserve a break.” You were so wonderful with my girls when they were little always visiting us especially to see them in the Halloween parade. You laughed so hard when you and Amber had matching yellow raincoats. So many Special memories. You are Forever in my Heart 💕

May all the sunshine and blue skies guide you through this time of love, peace and sadness. Much love to you all, as you whisper your goodbyes to this wonderful woman.

I'll always rememberbeing in a car with Rose and when we stopped at a red traffic light she turned up the radio, wound down the window, put her arm along the back of the seat, started chewing gum and gave the young man in the next car a huge smile and then winked at him. I laughed so hard at this extraordinary woman!

Since I remember you Rose, I found so much caring and love in you and your family, I always will be so bless to have you in my life, one of many details that I do hold on me, are such precious memories of you and my mam, of Audrey and I resting on your sofa and watching tv, of us enjoying your delicious food,… so Rose I pray for my kids to have some of your love, kindness and caring,… 

Such warm memories of Aunt Rose.  She entered my life when I was a young girl.  I remember being  mesmerized by her beauty, warmth, and charismatic smile - she was an accessible Sophia Loren to me.  I idolized her.  Times spent at the beach at Doe's Bay, family gatherings in Midland; I just loved being close to her.  Her kindness and attention was a magnet for me. Years later she came to see me and meet my children while visiting David in Alberta. She had the same effect on my 2 young daughters - I saw it in their eyes and their smiles.  While our contact wasn't consistent over the years, we always managed to connect and more recently in these past 3-4 years.  On a visit to Ontario from Nova Scotia in 2017, I stayed with Aunt Rose at her apartment. We enjoyed an afternoon of strolling and window shopping....stopping along the way at the various antique shops and even a car dealership where I pretended to be interested in buying a car so she could enjoy the air conditioning....it was, after all,  a hot afternoon in the city.  Conversation was easy with Aunt Rose - we shared thoughts and memories.  She was a trusted confidant and friend for me and I will miss her dearly.   To my cousins, David and Paul and your families, my deepest condolences on the loss of your mother/grandmother/mother-in-law.  Uncle Paul, I admired the relationship you and Aunt Rose maintained. May warm and loving memories embrace and keep you all during this sad time.  

I have many fond memories of one of my "baby-sitting " aunts when Mom and Dad travelled.  Great times in Whitby. You had this great smile, and great laugh, and I always liked the sound of your voice...soothing, caring...I can hear it now...still so nice. I loved when you told stories, usually funny ones, and you'd laugh so much during them. You were always asking about "my beautiful Laura", and the kids, and how they were doing. "Give them a hug from me" you'd say....and I would. Love you and will miss you. Love, Nephew Brett

Dear David,Paul and family
I was very saddened to hear the news that our dear Rose had passed away. I wish to offer you my sympathy at this trying  time. Your mother was a very special lady and my late husband and I had many good times with her.

Dave and I were your God parents Paul and I still have feelings for your family. David would remember me more than you but I would very much like to get in contact with both of you.  My phone number is 416 438 5517 and I am still in Scarborough.You remain in my prayers as usual.

R.I.P dear Rose,I did not know you as well as your sisters Carol and Mary,but I remember a beautiful lady who always had a smile on her face.My condolences to the Rosa Family,hug Lynn for me.


Our condolences to the Rosa family on the loss of our dear friend Rose.  We will miss her laughter and twinkle in her eye with her unique sense of humour.  My family personally has been the recipient of her thoughtfulness & kind heart which my children still remember fondly.  We witnessed Rose's kindness on many levels even when connecting with strangers.  Loving Memories of Rose will always be in our hearts.

My dear sweet sister Rose now in Heaven with my Lynn.  You always called me your "spiritual" sister as we always went to church together.....speaking on the phone often kept us together with all the news....we shared our problems as well as our wishes....even about dying....sisters have a special bond formed since childhood and into adulthood..   I will miss all of this but you have no pain....no illness and no worries for eternity and very happy...I know you and Lynn will look down on all of us and be with us always....till we meet again my loving sister Rose.......................Carol
