It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear cousin Rosemary, on April 23, 2012, following life-long battles with heart and kidney diseases. Surely loved daughter of the late Isobel Dinnick, Rosemary was just entering her 63rd year and just beginning a new adventure in her quest for independent living. She was a deeply religious soul and she sincerely appreciated being so whole-heartedly welcomed into the Salvation Army, Toronto Temple East Corps where she made many friends as an active member of the East Toronto Citadel for nearly 30 years. Rosemary will be fondly remembered by her friends and colleagues at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. Rosemary took great pride in her work there and she tackled her role as Steward with the United Steelworkers Union with decided enthusiasm. Rosemary was very sad when her deteriorating health forced her into early retirement. Many thanks to the caring staff at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University Site, for all the good care Rosemary received during her prolonged stay there. A special debt of gratitude is owed to Fred Victor, Street Health, specifically, to Jane and Fiona, whose help and support over many, many years was immeasurable. Family and friends are welcome for Visitation at the Salvation Army, East Toronto Citadel, 107 Cedarvale Avenue, Toronto, M4C 4J9, on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to the East Temple Corps, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice. Memories can be shared online at www.giffenmackdanforth.com
