Ruth Sarah Nadeau

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ruth Sarah Nadeau. Ruth died peacefully in her 101st year at Michael Garron Hospital, on Monday, March 14, 2022. Ruth was born August 28, 1921 and lived her entire life in Toronto. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband, Doug Nadeau. Ruth's family meant everything to her and she loved nothing more than spending time with them and to know what was happening in each of their lives. In her youth, ruth had many friends, playing baseball and sang in a Double trio that she made sure we all knew was "really good". Later in life she belonged to a bowling league, played tennis and took-up cross-country skiing in her 60s. Ruth had a huge personality, had strong opinions and loved nothing better than a great laugh. And there were many. She will be sorely missed by her children, Donna, Linda (Paul Landry) and Paul Nadeau; grandchildren, Kate, David, Meghan, Emily, Andrew, Meredith and Jessica, and great-grandchildren; grandnephews, Luke and Josh; and niece, Nancy. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Neighbourhood Link for their kindness and devotion to our mother. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Michael Garron Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
