Ruth Frances Woodside

Beloved wife to the late David Woodside, mother to Linda, Tom, and the late Carol McMurray.

Loving sister to Muriel Dawes (Russ), the late Garry Hurst (late Lorraine), and the late Betty Cameron.

Loving grandmother to Collin, great-grandmother to Alyshia, admired by step-grandson Glenn (Tasha).

Cherished and loved by twenty nieces and nephews, other extended family, friends and her brothers and sisters of the Christadelphian ecclesia.

Ruth was a kind and caring soul. Her quiet dignity was respected by all who knew her. She enjoyed Muskoka summers, baking and gardening. Her lifelong love of music nourished and sustained her.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be a limited private graveside service during internment at Highland Memorial Gardens, North York. A memorial to celebrate Ruth’s life will be considered when we are all able to gather together again.

We would like to acknowledge the excellent care and compassion of the Wexford staff shown to this special lady, whom many said brightened their day with her quiet smiles.
