Shannon Alicia Holder

My only daughter Shannon came into this world on October 27th 1983 at 5:30am. She departed my life my world March 16th 2026 at 42 years old, She left me with four beautiful children,Roshan, Jaylin, Shanell, Shamaiyah.

We love and miss her so much I am so broken right now but with my faith in god I know I will be okay. Shannon leaves behind her mother Everette Holder, her dad Garville Holder, her sister Mimi of Boston Massachusetts, her sister Melissa of Toronto,Ontario, her uncle Amos Linton JR of Guyana, her uncle Keith McDonald of Antigua, her uncle Terrance Downes of Guyana. Shannon is predeceased late uncles Dr.Neville Downes & William Downes of USA,her Late grandmother Cynthia Holder of Guyana, her grandfather Garville Dowridge of Guyana, And her nieces, nephews & life long friends.

Shannon attended Greenland public school, Don mills middle school, Don mills collegiate institute and was a member of St. Mark's Presbyterian church

Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON, M4C1L3, CA, on April 8, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Followed by a funeral service

A Committal Service will be held at Thornton Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON, L1J 0C9, CA, on April 8, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
