Stephen James McCarroll, of Burlington, Ontario, has passed away after a lengthy illness in the hospital, at the age of 60. He departed this life on April 16, 2014 at Milton Hospital, where right until the end, he managed to bring a smile to everyone’s face, including his nurses, with his sarcastic sense of humour. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward McCarroll, sister Anne McCarroll, and infant daughter Lindsay Anne McCarroll.
He leaves to cherish his memories, loving daughter Jennifer McCarroll, and three grandchildren, Tyler, Nathan and Riley Singer. As well, brothers Brian McCarroll (Marilyn), Edward McCarroll, sisters Denise Dillon (Kevin), Linda Stewart, and Janice Whittaker (Jim), and mother Anne McCarroll. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, including Susie McPherson, who showed her love and support right until the end. Stephen will also be fondly remembered by his aunt and lunch partner Marge Dillon.
Stephen lived his life to it’s fullest, never having a dull moment. He will be missed by many, and will live on in all of our hearts.
