Tanya Nedelkovski

Born in Bitola, North Macedonia, Tanya immigrated to Canada in 1973 with courage, strength, and deep faith. She embraced her new home while holding tightly to her values, culture, and unwavering devotion to family.

On January 15, 1983, she married the love of her life, Zivko. Their marriage was built on loyalty, sacrifice, and unconditional love. In her final months, Zivko never left her bedside — a reflection of the deep bond they shared and the promises they kept to one another.

Tanya dedicated many years of service to Providence Healthcare, where her compassion and tireless work ethic mirrored the care she gave so naturally at home. She was a passionate runner who completed several marathons and continued running until very recently — a testament to her discipline and strength.

She was a devoted daughter who cared selflessly for her parents and was a loving and supportive sister to her brother, Alex. As a mother to Sasho and Elena, she was everything — protector, guide, teacher, and friend. As a grandmother to Zoey, Milan, Ava, Tianna, and Alexander, she gave her whole heart. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

She never ended a conversation without saying, “I love you more.” Those words will echo in her family’s hearts forever.

Tanya passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones — wrapped in the same love she spent her lifetime giving.

Her life was anchored in faith and strong beliefs. She taught her family to love deeply, forgive freely, and treat others with kindness and humility. She made everyone around her better simply by the way she lived.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable void, but her strength, her lessons, and her love will live on forever.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, CA, on March 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Clement Of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 76 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON, M4H 1C5, CA, on March 9, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 1R1.
