Teresa Austin

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded with love on June 20th, 2016 at the age of 86. Teresa is predeceased by her parents Catherine and Joseph Haughey.

Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Bill, and their six children Bill Austin (Donna), Peter Austin (Debbie), Marie Seeney (Norm), Teri Keys (Sean), Rob Austin (Amy) and Cathy Hoey (Jeff).

Teresa will also be lovingly remembered by her nineteen grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren, Ian (Cheryl), Jason (Alylssa), Jennifer (Trevor), Justin (Fernanda), Chris (Caitlin), Janice (Craig), Bradley (Ashley), Brian (Lisa), Mark, Danielle (Will), Matthew (Hangjue), Michael (Katy), Laura (Julian), Melissa (Tim), Mandy (Enri), Alysha (Pat), Josh, Derek, Steven, Zachary, Hailey, Evan and Trevor.

Always loved and remembered by her brother Vince and sister-in-law Gillian, brother-in-law Gerry and sister-in-law’s Dorothy & Vera. Teresa was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and George and sister-in-law Ruth.

Teresa volunteered for many charitable organizations throughout the years and up until recently still enjoyed her weekly afternoon bowling with a few friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday June 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Shrine of the Little Flower. 2559 Kingston Road, Scarborough. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Road, Toronto.
