Teresa Bruno

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Teresa Bruno on March 3, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Paterno Calabro, Italy, Teresa carried with her a deep love of family, tradition, and heritage throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Bruno.

Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her children Michael Bruno (Doris) and Anna Apa (Vince). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her six granddaughters, Lisa, Elena, Vanessa, Valerie, Emily, and Danielle, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. She was also a cherished Nonna to her ten great-grandchildren: Alexandria, Jack, Anthony, Sam, Ben, Nathan, Sophia, Maya, Claire, and Nicholas.

She is survived by her siblings Luigi, Rita, Franca, and Ida, and was predeceased by her siblings Angelina, Michele, and Carmine. Teresa was also predeceased by her parents, Francesca and Cesare Balduini.

Teresa had a deep love for her family and took great joy in caring for them. She was known for her wonderful home cooking, her beautiful gardens, and the way she brought everyone together. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where her table was always full and her love was shared through every meal she prepared. Her home was a place where family gathered, laughter was shared, and lasting memories were made.

Her strength, warmth, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Teresa leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through the many generations of her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, Canada, on March 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Academy, 3150 Pharmacy Ave, Toronto, ON M1W 3J5, Canada, on March 10, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Entombment will take place at Forest Lawn Mausoleum & Cremation Centre, 4570 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2N 5L6, Canada.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
