It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Teresa Cornacchia (nee Morra), who departed this world at the age of 84 on August 30th, 2024. Teresa was born in Monteleone Di Puglia, Foggia, Italy, on October 11, 1939.
She was happily married to her beloved husband Francesco for over 66 years and has now been reunited with him. She also joins her eldest son Giaocchino and her grandson Jamie.
She was a dedicated and loving mother to her eight children, Filomena (Carmelo), Antonietta (Frank), Pasquale (Franca), Angelina, Rocco (Gina), Ralph, and Joe. She was an adored grandmother to her grandchildren, Salvatore, Michael, Jake, Matthew, Anthony, Teresa, Sabrina, Gabriel, Michelle, Danielle, Frank and Sophia. And a very proud bisnonna to Sarah, Angelica, Elizabeth, Michael Jr., Lauren and Ben.
Teresa enjoyed cooking her traditional Italian meals, preparing her delicious fresh tomato sauce annually, cuddling with her two cats and chatting with her family.
A visitation for Teresa will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3.
