Thomas Henry Spence

1929-2014

Tom peacefully passed away at Baycrest Centre surrounded by his family on July 31, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved husband and best friend of Phyllis for 61 years. Loving father of Norman (Cyndy), Irene, Brian (Tricia), Paul and Olive. Proud grandfather of Ashley, Jenna (Hunter), Kiefer, Pompeo, Athena and Davis. Survived by his sisters Olive (the late Godfrey), Hillary (Bernard), Jackie (David) and many nephews and nieces in Ireland. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie (the late Claude). Tom will be dearly missed but we will always remember his kind nature and incredible sense of humor. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lubelsky and Nurse Practitioner Colleen Power. A special thank you to all the staff at Baycrest Centre who helped care for Tom. As per Tom's wishes, cremation has already taken place. Friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on August 23, 2014 at 10:30am at Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street, Toronto. A Celebration of Tom's life will follow in the chapel at 11:00am.
