With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Valentino Colucci, who passed away peacefully at the age of 89 after a courageous nine-year battle with cancer. He faced every challenge with strength, dignity, and a hopeful heart, never letting his illness define him.
Born in Pescosolido, Frosinone, Italy, to Pasquale and Maria, Valentino is now reunited with his beloved wife, Anna Maria of 47 years. He was a devoted father to Pasqualina (Frank), Mario (Mariella), and Marisa, and a proud Nonno to Sabrina, Valentina, and Anthony.
Valentino will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Domenico (Anna) and Vincenzo (late Vincenza), and by his extended family, including in-laws Caterina (Domenico), the late Casimiro (Rosa), Orazio, and the late Giuseppe. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A kind, warm hearted, and social man, Valentino was known for his generous spirit and love of storytelling. Self-taught and hardworking, he took pride in learning new skills to provide for his family. He found great joy in his garden, cooking, and playing the accordion — talents he taught himself and shared generously.
Valentino’s life was defined by love, laughter, and dedication to family. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Donations in his memory may be made to SickKids Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
