Vera was born in Toronto on March 5, 1926 to her loving parents Samuel and Lucy Oxton and was predeceased by her loving husband Herbert Crook.
Vera is also predeceased by two of her children Janice Miller( Donald Miller) and David Crook (Maureen Crook).
Vera is survived by her daughter Diane Coutsothanassis (George) and her son John Crook .
Vera leaves behind a legacy of 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her generosity and of course her stubbornness.
A visitation for Vera will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home.
