July 3, 1940 – January 29 2026.
Vidalia Maria Couto was born on July 3, 1940, the beloved daughter of Laurentina and Tiberio Garcia. She was a devoted sister to Adrianna, Ilda, Horossio, Fatima, Edwarda and Arthur and a loving mother to Humberto, Nilton, and Richard. Vidalia was a cherished grandmother to Ricki, Abbey, and David, and a proud great-grandmother to Angel Xavier.
On January 29, surrounded by her family, Vidalia peacefully took her last breath. She was, and forever will be, remembered as a strong, independent, and deeply loving woman. A mother who would do anything and everything for her family and friends, she lived a long, full, and meaningful life, grounded in love and resilience.

A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, located at 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON, M4C 1L3, Canada, on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for February 13, 2026, at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A committal service will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, situated at 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 1R1, Canada, on February 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
