He was the son of the late Patrick O’Donnell and Hannah Houghton of Ireland. Survived by his brothers Dominic (Maitland, FL) and Patrick (Phoenix, AZ) and their families. Predeceased by his brother Roy. Brother Vincent was a member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools for 56 years. He taught in various primary schools in Montreal, Yorkton, and Toronto. He spent seven years teaching English and learning Malay in Malaysia. Brother Vincent spent the last six years at Providence Healthcare and appreciated all that the staff did for him.
Visitation will take place at Loretto Abbey, 101 Mason Blvd. Toronto on Monday , April 13, 2015 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Loretto Abbey. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario.
