Vincenzo leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and hard work.
Vincenzo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ada, who he joins in Heaven. Together, they created a beautiful family who brought him immense joy and pride. He is survived by his two children, Roberto (Irmela) and Angela (Bardya), and was “Nonno” to, Emma, Giulio, Bijan, and Darius; who were the light of his life. His family was his greatest treasure, and he dedicated himself selflessly to their happiness and well-being.
Born on January 1, 1933, in the Veroli region of Italy, Vincenzo grew up with a strong connection to the land and its traditions. Before immigrating to Canada in the late 1950s, he worked in the vineyards and cellars of the Castelli Romani region of Italy, where he developed a passion for making wine that he carried with him during most of his life. He also took immense pride in his garden, particularly his tomatoes, tending to them with great care.
In Canada, Vincenzo initially worked in many jobs such as removing snow in winters and as a laborer. He ultimately settled on, and worked tirelessly, being a hoisting engineer and was as a proud member of Local 793 for over 50 years. He loved to point out to friends and family the numerous building construction projects on which he worked over the years in Toronto and surrounding towns.
To know Vincenzo was to know kindness, generosity, and a quiet strength that inspired people around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the values he instilled in his family.
Vincenzo will be dearly missed by all of his extended family and friends. Rest in peace, Vincenzo. Your love and devotion will remain with us always.
