Yvonne Ellen Mackay

With heavy hearts, the family of Yvonne Mackay sadly announce her passing on August 21, 2021 at age 92. She passed away peacefully while under the care of the loving staff and special angels at the Briton House Retirement Residence.

Yvonne is predeceased by her Husband of 35 years Bruce (1993). Bruce and Yvonne built a happy life of memories in East York with Son Scott. Yvonne was an avid card player, tourist, lawn bowler and member of several seniors communities in Toronto. She loved time with people and shared her love of life with everyone she met.

Yvonne was born June 14th, 1929 in Peterborough, Ontario to James Gosselin and Laura Coffey. She was a proud big sister to her predeceased brother Garry Gosselin (Sheila).

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including her lifelong friend Mary McCabe.

Burial will take place at St. John’s Norway Cemetery in Toronto after a private family ceremony.
