Born in the province of Sampaloc, Quezon, Zhara has always wanted to be a nurse, ever since she was about four years old. She has always believed in her dream: “I am an RN, and I’m working as one.” She continued to pursue that path through college and eventually became a licensed nurse. With persistence and dedication, she carried that dream with her when she moved to Canada, continuing to work as a registered nurse.
“I’ve always seen myself that way! to help others and to be compassionate… I pursue the career, and indeed, it’s a fulfilling career providing care and offering yourself, making sure their needs are met, and advocating for them.” For Zhara, being a nurse means “going to work with purpose.”
Zhara is deeply appreciative of life’s simple joys: sunny days, sunsets, stars, beaches, a “good sleep”, “arriving safely at work”, having “stable patients,” having “good shift with good people”, and “celebrating with family”
She enjoyed her own company, often spending her time reading non-fiction books or walking in the park with her fur baby, Happy. She loved traveling and exploring new places and experiences, not only for herself, but also to share those moments with her close family and friends, creating memories together, enjoying good meals, and sharing laughter.
She’ll be remembered for her strength as strong as the tides.
She’ll be remembered as a ray of light that shines through cloudy skies.
She’ll be remembered as a blooming flower over the trees.
The sweetest smile we’ve ever seen.
Our brave angel, Zhara.
