

Alfred N. Lopez was called home in a peaceful manner with his beloved wife Betty by his side in California on Tuesday, June 24, 2020. His life was well lived and he was well loved. He was a quiet, kind and gentle man, holding the highest integrity in business and in family life. He was a WWII Army veteran. His passion was singing in his church choir for 50 years and singing in the Pala Singer choir for 25 years. Betty will always remember Alfred as being the best husband she could have ever asked for, as well as his amazing dancing skills.
He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Refugio and his son Eric. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty. He is also survived by his loving children Robert, Margo, Kathy, Yvonne and Tina. He is also a proud grandfather to April, Alfredo, Brandy, Denise, Richard, Deanna, Natalie, Derek, Helena, George, Alicia and Mason. And an even more proud great-grandfather to Nicholas, Roman, Aaron, Ezekiel, Gabriela, Esvardo, Elias, Krystyne, Alexandria, Janie, Fiona, Georgiana. And to top it all off a great, great-grandfather to Naomi, Blaire, Xavier, Zachary and Anand.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Chapel South Bay, Gardena, California.
Alfred will be forever remembered by his beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.
When you think of Alfred, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
