My fondest memory of Annie was in Albuquerque when she and Bill had driven their motorhome to meet their pilot friends on a fly-in.  She and I took a walk from the hotel and had to skinny through a barbed fence to get back.  One or both of us tore our shirts and had a good laugh.  We enjoyed talking gardening together. Precious Sister, you will always be my big sister as you always laughed when you reminded me of it, but it was always said with love. I was only 6 years old when you and Mac married and moved away.  I was your flower girl.       We always had so many good laughs when you came to visit your three sisters in Texas.  Sometimes we giggled and laughed so hard we were crying.  The four of us formed a bond that held us together through the good times and bad times in our lives. Those times are such precious memories that I will always cherish.  You taught me so many things about life, shared your cooking and gardening secrets with me that I will continue to use.      It won't be the same now, and I'll never forget the big sister that always made sure her little sister was taken care of regardless.      You have endless peace and comfort now and that's God's promise.  As your wings became weak, he knew he needed to cradle you in his    majestic hands. Happiness is like a Journey. There are days that you wished of this or of that, that you wanted this or that, or might have thought that Life will be better when you have a baby or your kids go to school, when you got your first airplane or your retired, BUT, were there times when you wanted to be happy and couldn't find it? But, Happiness is a Journey, Annie ann, you Lived each day like it was full to the brim of everything you needed, wanted and had everyone around you that Loved you and cared for you, with you sharing your Love for them,for your Journey was meant for you and you alone, I know that you were happy that you have experienced a Journey full of Life's pleasures, for Life is a special honor given to all of us, you shared it as if it was a gift From God. I hope that we can all find our next Journey that is in front of us after death has touched us, with that in mind-Your Journey has just begun. Ann, Thanks for being my big sister. We have had alot of laughs and fun over the years. Even though we had our ups and downs, we both knew we would work it out. We are Family. Our Auntie Ann loved living.  She had an infectious laugh and a tenacity   for life. She and Uncle Mac made the many trips down to Texas for the holidays and she always made sure we nieces and nephew knew how much she enjoyed seeing us. I have so many great memories laughing with her, playing cards, getting Auntie Ann "tips" on just about anything.  Loved to hear her talk about her garden in California.  Hanna and Ryan think she has the most amazing throwing arm. I saw the heavens brighten when Auntie Ann joined my mom and they are playing cards and Rummikub together now...I just hope the others there know that they both cheat!  I had the privelege of seeing her just a few weeks ago and we shared an amazing time together. She knows how much we loved her and how much we will miss her always! Annie Ann,   The admiration I have for you is, and will always be so high.  Your sweet smile and laughter when we first would see you after not visiting in awhile was always so bright!  I looked forward to your visits to Dallas and the trips I took to California.   Your laugh, your voice was so mistakenly familiar to my Mother's I remember calling you mom on the phone several times when you would answer the phone at her house. I will cherrish the times we spent and most importantly the things you always supported me in.  You will be missed in my life but never in my heart because you grew a section to be yours that will never ever leave.  I love you and will miss you very much.  Laura

Uncle Mac and family,      I can't ever look at a 'Red Baron' without having fond memories of you and Aunt Ann coming to Texas and showing us girls really cool airplane stuff and making us Red Baron and Blue Angels t-shirts. In fact I still have a few of those fun t-shirts in my box of childhood memories. (Go ahead, call me overly sentimental!) Also, I remember Aunt Ann taking me to the beach during my first trip to California as a kid; then sitting on your patio and watching the ocean!       She will be missed! Yet, I know she and my Mom are growing flowers and playing cards (and probably cheating at it, too) in the heavens above.   God Bless you and Pamela, Patty and Danny and their families. My condolences to the McNeeley family on Annie's passing.  It's been a long time since our paths crossed (I dated Annie's daughter Pam for a little while in the early Seventies and the last time I was over at the McNeeley homestead was probably 1980-1981)but I still remember very well Annie's laugh, some of her dealings with raising teenagers in the late Sixties/early Seventies (there were some wild times I believe), and her sage advice to a sometimes lovelorn young fellow.  She is someone I will always remember warmly.

We have lost a dear friend and a true 99. She will be sorely missed, but now she is flying high on her own power. God bless her and console the family. Love, Sheila

Saying goodbye to a friend we have known for over 30 years is hard.  We shared the love of flying, Oshkosh, the 99s, and afternoons at the Civic Light Opera.  Her Flightline business was terrific and we got a kick out of her T-shirt that said "Remove Before Flight".  She and Bill were regulars at the Oshkosh Fly-In as well as others around the country - until their retirement.  We have other friends who knew Ann for her orchids.  We will miss her.

Annie was a second mother to my son-I feel honored  to have known her!

Auntie Ann I will miss you. As a young boy I remember you and Uncle Mac traveling to the many air shows across the country, and always going out of your way to visit us in Texas.   I will cherish the time you spent teaching me about collecting coins, I still have the first Mint Set you purchased for me.  Another fond memory I have is the special trip you made to come to my high school graduation.      Uncle Mac and family I know it wasn't always easy taking care of Auntie Ann during her illness. I love you all very much. She is at peace and not suffering. Mom said she did not want to be forgotten. I can't. I miss her wonderful advice and wisdom so much. She was a wonderful Mother.      I am only sorry that I did not know her more and in different ways. She was so much more than my Mom. Though that is the role we knew each other most in.        She was kind and generous, always looking out for those she loved.  Even looking out for others she did not know.        Blessings to everyone.
