Barbara Sousa

She was born October 24, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. Early on, it was clear that she was extremely gifted, and would accomplish great things. Her brilliance was only exceeded by her big heart. She graduated top of her class in law school, becoming an expert employment attorney. As passionate as she was about her career, she was even more devoted to her family.

She was truly loved by all who had the honor of knowing her. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ken; her daughter, Katherine; her son, Justin; her sister, Valerie; her brother, Glenn Jr.; and many other loving family members.

Memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions, Rice Center, 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503 on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 9 am. Graveside service will follow at 11 am (or earlier depending on length of memorial service) at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 182nd St., Redondo Beach, CA 90278. We will return to Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions at 12 noon (approx. time) for the reception.
