Charles Christian Schrader

Schrader, Charles Christian, a 40 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Tuesday January 22, 2008 in Lomita. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Charles was 75 when he passed. Charles served in the US Army. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

Charles and his family moved to Torrance in 1968 where he worked as a mechanic and inspector for TWA until retiring in 1993. He enjoyed traveling with his family including many trips to Europe. After retiring, he criss-crossed the US in his RV with his wife many times.

He is survived by his Daughter, Kathie (Randy) Rudasics of Steamboat Springs, CO; Son, Glenn Schrader of Torrance, CA and Granddaughter, Amber (Daniel) Tuccinardi of Torrance, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Doris; and his Parents, Anna and Christian Schrader.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm. The Service will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lomita on Tuesday January 29 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
