Claire Jean Snow

Claire Korthuis Snow passed away Wednesday, October 25th after a courageous battle with cancer. Claire was born in Raymond, Minnesota on August 24, 1935. She was the oldest daughter of the late Johanna and Lubert Korthuis. Claire was the sister of Lois Foster, John Korthuis, and Charles Korthuis. She was the loving mother to three children: Elizabeth Snow Shea, William Snow III, and Rebecca Snow Gramstrup. Claire was a doting grandmother of nine grandchildren (Ed Shea IV, Charlie Shea, Patrick Shea, Reilly Shea, Taylor Gramstrup, Henry Gramstrup, Dane Gramstrup, Madison and Liam Snow.)

Claire spent nearly 20 years working at the University of Southern California. She was involved in various volunteer organizations including Swim With Mike, Palos Verdes Art Center, and more. Claire was always willing to help others and never turned away a visitor or friend in need. Her presence was a bright light in our world and she will be truly missed by all her knew her.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, November 10th at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church 1900 S. Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, CA 90277.
