Dude I still think about you and miss you.  Its the 19th year of our Fantasy Football League and I still remember your team and all those times we shared.  That trip to LA, when we went to see the Angels and Dodgers.  Memories I still hold with me.  I can't believe its been 13 years since you died, and I can't help thinking about what might have occurred in the intervening years.  I've been married for 7 years now and I'm about to turn 40.  I know we would have been hanging out and sharing in these moments together.  I just know you would have lost your mind that Ohtani signed with the Dodgers too, haha.  You were the best and I hope you are hanging with Vin and watching the Dodgers lose to the Phillies this year (hah).  I miss you and you'll never be forgotten.

Colby,   It is has been 6 days since we held the Celebration of your life.  It started raining the afternoon of your celebration and it finally stopped yesterday.  The So Cal mountains have had some record snowfall, as well as Mammoth in the Sierras.  But I am sure that you know that--I can see you boarding that great snow right now. I've spent the last few days after hearing the news browsing through pictures and videos to remember all the moments - and there certainly were many in even the past four years that I knew him! He was a joy to be around as he lived life to the fullest during his time with us all, and was also wise beyond his years. Thank you for sharing stories and photos of his childhood with me - I enjoyed learning how he would share his animated spirit with you all as well. A celebration of his life was truly the best way to honor him and I'm sorry to have missed it. John and Cindy,       Words can't express the loss and shock of Colby's sudden passing. I've read the guestbook, watched the video and read about Holt International. They say it best "give life to a child." You are great parents who gave Colby a wonderful life. You can see he lived it to the fullest in his accomplishments, adventures and infectious smile. The outpouring of love from the 250 people who attended Colby's Celebration of Life was so heart-warming to us, his parents & sister.   The wonderful stories that were told meant so very much to us, as did the kind words, warm hugs & kisses, & support.        We sincerely thank all of you who attended, those who sent us food, cards, flowers, & gifts.  Colby would have been impressed by these expressions of love & caring.      Colby's passing away has left an enormous hole in our lives & in the lives of his terrific friends.
